Got a call just after 9pm from someone saying I had £1500 to claim from a car accident. They couldn’t say when the crash happened or which car was involved. Claimed they were ringing for the other driver's insurance company. When I said if it was legit they’d have all my details, they kept insisting they weren’t after info but still wanted my address and DOB! Had the muppet on the line for over half an hour before I told them I’ve never even been in a car accident!

Same thing happened to me, they called up about some old accident I had ages back. They kept going on about some 'FUND' I was owed money from. I reckon if I hadn’t cut them off, they’d have tried to get my bank info to “send” me the cash. No way am I ever giving out my bank details to strangers! Keep yer guard up, folks.

So scary!! I picked up the phone and the person was talking about a car crash. I calmly told them it's all sorted, thanks, and then I hung up. Right away, the phone rang again. Had a call from a woman who said her name was Natalie and mentioned a company with a name that kind of sounded like modding or wadding. She started asking about some accident I supposedly had not long ago. I replied, “Are you talking about the accident in my invisible car I don't own, since I don’t even have a driving licence?” She just went, “Oh,” so I said, “Well, you might want to remove me from your list then, right?” And then she just hung up.
