Got a call just after 9pm from someone saying I had £1500 to claim from a car accident. They couldn’t say when the crash happened or which car was involved. Claimed they were ringing for the other driver's insurance company. When I said if it was legit they’d have all my details, they kept insisting they weren’t after info but still wanted my address and DOB! Had the muppet on the line for over half an hour before I told them I’ve never even been in a car accident!

Like many others have mentioned, I encountered a rather dubious call regarding an incident I experienced quite some time back. It seems these folks were convinced they had some sort of financial compensation waiting for me from a so-called 'FUND'. Honestly, if I’d entertained their nonsense for any longer, I can bet they would have attempted to wheedle my bank details out of me to supposedly facilitate this payment. Absolutely not-keep your bank details to yourself at all costs!

Absolutely shocking! I picked up the phone only to find it was regarding a car crash. I responded courteously, mentioning that the matter had already been resolved, and hung up. To my disbelief, the phone rang straight away. When I answered, the man on the other end launched into a tirade of insults! "Who do you think you are, hanging up on me?" he snarled, getting increasingly aggressive. I retorted, "Did I request to speak with you? How dare you speak to me like that? I'm reporting you, so don’t even think about calling me again!" Such a vile individual!

Had a call from a woman who said her name was Natalie and mentioned a company with a name that kind of sounded like modding or wadding. I've been inundated with calls from this lot, despite having registered for the Telephone Preference Service. When I mentioned it, the chap on the line just scoffed and said, 'Oh, really? That's why we're trying to reach you then!' Honestly, it's beyond ridiculous. The irony is that I run my own telecoms company, so I'm well aware of how the TPS works - way more than they seem to be! And as for the accident they kept banging on about, I've got a pristine record with no claims for 13 years. It's all very dodgy behaviour! Rest assured, I'm on a mission to track these clowns down and will be reporting them to Ofcom and the Information Commissioner’s Office.
