Also, I’m seeing signs of moisture rising up from the damp proof course. Makes me wonder exactly what kind of training these people have and where they’re getting their info from. Feels like a proper scam to me.

They didn't leave a voicemail so I didn’t pick up. When I called back, some American bloke came on with cheesy music playing, saying “Please hold, your call is really important!” That was enough to make me block the number straight away.

I’m pretty cautious when it comes to random calls, particularly those starting with 0161 or 03. These days, I tend to just not bother answering. If it really matters, they’ll try again. Sometimes, I'll just look up the number here to see who it might be.

No message left, so I didn’t pick up. Decided to check the number here and guess what? It’s listed as harassing, lol. Proper glad I didn’t answer and took a moment to look it up. I’ve blocked the number now and honestly, I’d say this is a REALLY dodgy caller.

I got a call from some company I’ve never heard of, and the person on the line gave me a name that didn’t ring any bells. They said we’d chatted before, so I asked, “Really? When was that and what was it about?” but then the call just dropped straight away.
