Once, they actually asked for me, and when I asked who was calling, I caught a really rude word before they slammed down. They keep ringing me up as much as 4 times daily, always asking for my other half. Even though he’s told them to quit, it’s been dragging on for over three months now. Today, when I finally picked up, the woman on the line awkwardly asked, “Um, is thingy there, you know, Mr... I'm 77 and constantly getting random calls I really don't want. In just three months, I've had about 60 to 70 rings, mostly about PPI claims and those annoying surveys. It's seriously starting to get on my nerves, and nothing I do seems to make a difference. I’m registered with the TPS but it clearly doesn’t stop them. This number keeps ringing my phone non-stop and it’s driving me mad. I’ve stopped answering because it was getting too much, but now they’re calling even more aggressively. Since I got home from work today, they’ve rung me at least six times.
I’ve got a son who’s on the high-functioning autism spectrum and has ADHD, plus I struggle with ADD myself. These constant calls are wreaking havoc, especially when it comes to getting him to settle down at bedtime, which’s difficult enough as it is. It’s also really stressful for me because I find interruptions really hard to handle.
Is there any chance this company can be stopped for good? Could we take legal action? And where’s the best place to report them so something actually happens?
