Got a call on the 11th of May from someone saying they were with Microsoft, claiming they needed to fix some error messages on my computer. The bloke had a strong South Asian accent and really struggled when I started asking questions and went off what they were reading. He tried to hand me over to some supposed 'superior' but I didn’t buy it for a second. The phone number looked like it was from Manchester but it was clearly a scam.
