Recently, we noticed a missed call on our mobile from this number. When we dialled them back, a receptionist picked up. We mentioned that we had received a missed call, but rather than clarify who they were or inquire further, she promptly placed us in a queue! We quickly decided to end the call. Quite baffling, really!

This certainly wasn’t your run-of-the-mill marketing call. It wasn't one of those standard non-geographic numbers we’ve all grown accustomed to. We thought we might be onto something with a possible customer, but as soon as we picked up, we were greeted by the unmistakable background din of a call centre. We hung on, anticipating the usual spiel to launch from the other end, but instead, the caller just hung up. Quite the anti-climax, really.
