This number, 01619790915, has been ringing me up about 7 to 12 times every day. I never pick up calls from unfamiliar numbers on my phone, so I’ve no idea who it could be. It’s become so annoying that I’ve had to switch my phone off just to get some peace.

I wasn’t planning to pick up as the number looked strange to me, only realised who it was after putting my specs on.
They asked if I owned the house, and when I asked why they needed to know, they just hung up on me right away.

I've noticed scam calls have stepped up their game recently by faking local numbers, making it way more likely for people to pick up. Just like others here, I only took the call because I was actually waiting for someone to ring me.

got a call from a lady with a strong sub-continent accent chatting non-stop about some “free boiler replacement program.” the background noise made it pretty hard to catch what she was saying. like a few others have said, we’re on the tps list but these scammers couldn’t care less about that. i’m gonna report it anyway.

I got a call from some woman named Martina, who was chatting about this government scheme for replacing boilers. Her English was pretty hard to understand. Then she began asking if I was on any benefits, which I wasn’t comfortable answering. After that, the call just kinda died off.

I tried ringing back 0161 962 1553 but just got dead tone, which makes me think this number is dodgy. If you get a call from this number, I'd be really careful about answering since you won’t be able to call back. Seems like they want to keep it one way, no chance for you to get in touch with them. I ended up blocking it straight away. Then right after, I got another call from 0161 928 6999, which turned out to be some telemarketing group called TH AD PEOPLE. Wonder if it’s just coincidence or if these similar numbers are connected. Both felt suspicious to me. Definitely a telesales thing going on here.
