Some sort of computer hacker was ringing me up asking for info, but I told them straight up it was a scam before I ended the call.

Got a call earlier from someone saying they could sort out my Windows 7 download issues. Their English was awful, barely made any sense. Told them to bugger off, proper scammer.

I got a call with no sound at all, but just so you know, MICROSOFT won’t ring you up out of the blue unless you’ve already contacted them first.

Beware of calls from this number claiming to be from computer support, they say they want to help you stop nasty files from damaging your computer. They’ll ask you to visit a site like www.ammyy.com, which is actually linked to scammers, not any legit support. If you follow their steps, you risk having your computer hacked and your private info stolen. I work IT myself and can tell you, genuine Windows support never rings you out of the blue - problems get fixed automatically with updates. Please don’t fall for this trick. Stay safe!

Got a call from this number earlier. Some bloke named Neil with a really strong Indian accent, speaking broken English, said he was from some tech support team and could help stop unwanted downloads on my computer. I told him it wasn’t a good time as I wasn’t near my PC, then I ended the call. Not long after, Neil phoned again saying the call got cut off. I said, “No, I hung up because it wasn’t a good time.” Next thing, he calls me stupid and then just hangs up on me! Well, guess I’m lucky to be that “stupid” then...
