Got a call from someone claiming to be from a supplier. They went through the typical "security" questions and then asked if my business was still up and running. After that, she just said thanks and ended the call. Pretty clear to me they were fishing for info.

Got a call from Clear Business about an overdue water bill for some property they say I own - which I definitely don’t! They left a really detailed voicemail spilling loads of private info about the real owner, like their name, address, what they owe, plus the name of the person who referred it and a reference number. And all that was left on my voicemail, totally the wrong number. Feels like a blatant GDPR violation if you ask me!

Got loads of calls about energy contract renewals even tho ive said no everytime. I just put em on hold and they usually give up and end the call after bout a minute! Proper nuisance tho.

They're still at it, you know. I received two disconnections and a lengthy message on the answering machine. It's quite baffling how they continue their actions relentlessly. Something must be done to put an end to this.

It is not wise to engage in conversation as it is of little value. Please note that I have registered with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) and am not listed in any public directory, although it appears to have no effect.

unicom, which also goes by titan telecom and universal debt collection for the other names, is a really pushy and intimidating bunch. Honestly, it's best to just block them or not engage at all.

I've been having a right palaver with Titan, as they're harassing my elderly folks, threatening to bill them a hefty sum just for trying to leave. The cheek of it - there’s no actual contract, just some dodgy recordings they’re refusing to share with me. I've gone ahead and cancelled the direct debit to them, as they're an absolute nightmare to contend with. And wouldn't you know it, you can't even ring them back to sort it out!

The customer service representatives are quite rude and excessively persistent. Interestingly, I found that I couldn't place calls to the 0161 number, yet they seem to have no issue ringing me up from it. Their contact number is 0161 946 4444. I strongly advise against entering into any agreements with them, as they'll happily bind you to a three-year deal and then seamlessly roll you over into another one!

verastar trading as kinex used to go by universal utilities fa unicom. back in july 2015, ofcom slapped them with a £200,000 fine for mis-selling. then in october 2015, they went ahead and officially changed their company name at companies house.

I recently uploaded my CV on Indeed and now they keep calling me repeatedly, asking if I'm interested in a job. Even though I have clearly stated that I am not interested, they continue to bother me with phone calls. This situation serves as a lesson to myself: I should make my CV visible to only specific employers and not to all.

I deeply regret the decision I made to become a part of Unicom. Each month, they add extra charges to my bill for services that I never requested or needed. After a few months, I decided to switch my phone lines and explicitly expressed my dissatisfaction with their services. Surprisingly, they continue to call me but I have found a way to relieve stress by venting my frustrations during these calls before promptly ending them. It amazes me how foolish they are, as they persistently call me back every single day, allowing me to repeat the same pattern.

Do yourself a favour and steer clear of this company, as if it were the plague!

The customer service crew frequently indulged in mockery of clients, blatantly avoiding any genuine attempts to address complaints. They don’t just swindle the clientele, whom they derisively term "cunts" in training sessions, but they also exploit their employees. Pay is often miscalculated or delayed, and the company has faced numerous investigations and penalties. The employee turnover is astonishing; most of the staff are merely teenagers, with 17 being the average age. During my brief tenure, I witnessed outright fraudulent activities, including calling network providers and transferring mobile numbers under false pretenses. Sensitive details like banking and credit card information were carelessly shared on bits of A4 paper, and I observed tensions flare between different groups vying for control over such data. I lasted a mere four weeks there, and I can firmly say, never again!

As noted by others, if you miss the narrow window to cancel your agreement right before the end of your year-long contract, you’ll find yourself automatically tied into a new three-year stint! We’ve already made arrangements with a different provider to notify Unicom as soon as our three years come to an end, because I know I’ll likely forget, and they'll take care of terminating it for me. Seriously, steer clear of this company - consider yourself forewarned!

I am constantly receiving persistent phone calls from a certain group of individuals. I believe they may be from Unicom, a company I have two accounts with. I’ve discovered that these folks operate on a rolling three-year contract system, and if you haven’t clued them in ahead of time, you’ll find yourself signed up for yet another three years without any say in the matter! The service leaves a lot to be desired, honestly. I’d recommend staying with BT instead!
