10 yearsI’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service, so I really shouldn’t be receiving calls from businesses like this at all.Telephone Preference Service10 yearsWe've also received a call from this number recently, just a fortnight after we placed an ad on Yell.com. When we answered, the caller addressed me by my full name and then proceeded to mention our business name. The only entity that has our details linked to this business is Yell.com. It leads us to believe quite firmly that Yell.com has either sold our information or has had it taken without our consent. Moving forward, we won’t be answering calls from this number again.Yell. com10 yearsIt’s worth noting that when individuals claim to be in some exclusive agreement with Google, it’s best to challenge that assertion. Search engines don’t operate on that basis at all. Just recently, we had quite a to-do with one of their rather dubious callers who attempted to feed us a pack of lies. This lot seems to brandish their ‘Google Professional’ credentials to twist the narrative and give the impression they’re operated solely under Google’s banner. In reality, they’re merely cashing in on AdWords-something that anyone can easily do by setting up their own account.GoogleAdWords10 yearsI engaged in a week-long trial with this lot, and I must say it’s been a right disaster! We witnessed a staggering 25% decline in traffic to our website after following their so-called recommendations. Really disappointing to have been led astray like that. It seems we're not the only ones who've been duped. To top it off, despite the trial period, they've managed to deduct payments from our account on two separate occasions. Do yourselves a favour and steer clear of this company as if it were the plague. If you’re in the mood to part with your cash, consider donating to those in need instead-at least they won’t hound you every two minutes trying to squeeze out more money from you!10 yearsHad a right oddball marketing call from someone claiming to be a Matchmaker. They were absolutely sticking to their script, throwing out lines like, "Imagine how much better your business could do if more folks checked out your website!" It felt like they were just trying to get us to nod along before hooking us into some kind of internet search service. We made it clear that we’re on the Telephone Preference Service list, and the lady actually asked why we would put our number online if that were the case. I mean, come on! We want genuine customers to get in touch, not pushy salespeople!10 yearsSarah here. The company trawls through the Yell.com directories and makes unsolicited calls based on the contact details found there. Just to clarify, Yell.com doesn't hold any responsibility for these calls.SarahYell. com10 yearsThe individual in charge was Luke Osborn, who played a pivotal role in all of this. You could reach her on her private mobile at 07977229852 or via the desk phone at 0161 834 1498. If you prefer, you could also contact her superior, Chris Brady, at 0161 239 1015. It’s worth noting that Luke provides monetary rewards to encourage sales staff to obtain card information, and then sets them up for monthly deductions from their accounts.Luke OsbornChris BradyLuke10 yearsI’ve got a little nugget of wisdom for those tired of nuisance calls: if your mobile has a call-blocking feature, just add the troublesome number to the blacklist. The next time they try to ring you, your phone will effortlessly silence the call before you even know it’s happening. All that pesky caller will hear is a silent line. It’s worth having a gander online to find out which app works best for your specific phone brand and model. Hope this proves useful!10 yearsReceived multiple calls from this number, but we never answered. They also tried our mobile. We've only been getting these calls since we placed an ad with Yell.com.Yell. com11 yearsCaution is advisable if you're considering engaging with this company. They've been spreading the misleading claim that our organisation (which I shall refrain from naming) was one of their clients, and this assertion appears prominently on search engines for related queries. As you might suspect, I've never collaborated with Matchmaker Marketing-it's a total fabrication.Matchmaker Marketing11 yearsI've been getting calls from these folks incessantly, claiming I've made an inquiry on their site. We clarified that we believed their calls were nothing but spam, and next thing I know, this person is on the other end shouting and insisting that they needed to know our name and who we are as a company. We maintained our composure and explained that we didn't fancy being grilled about our identity, to which she retorted, "I don't expect to be spoken to like a complete idiot," before slamming down the phone! Quite delightful, isn’t it?11 yearsIt appears these individuals are masquerading as if they're making calls from yell.com.12 yearsReceived a call on one of my business lines from these numpties. It's quite ridiculous, really; they're trying to peddle services that I already offer to my own clients. Absolute daftness!12 yearsWe've made the daft decision to sign up for a one-week trial with these jokers, and they’ve been taking money out of our account each month without so much as a nod from us. To add insult to injury, they’re now adamantly refusing to give us our cash back! Steer clear of them as if they were the bubonic plague!12 yearsMatchmaker Marketing gives me the absolute creeps! Their cold calling is beyond annoying, and when I politely declined, they wouldn’t take the hint at all! It's like talking to a brick wall.Matchmaker MarketingSubmit Your Own Report (0161 941 7944)
