This afternoon, we received a rather peculiar postcard sent to the occupier of our residence. It urged us to ring up KUDOS at 01619413232 and reference the code S7857. I must say, we found it rather dodgy and have no intention of giving them a call.

We've received a postcard that’s been sent to the occupier, with the phone number crossed over and a different one scribbled in pen. To be honest, we have no intention of giving them a ring. If it were anything of importance, they would surely have sent a proper letter detailing the situation instead of this half-hearted attempt.

I gave them a ring to inquire about who they were after they started requesting payment at our address. The person on the line mentioned that they weren’t exclusively dealing with debts but handled a variety of matters. Oddly enough, they were actually looking for our neighbour rather than us. I simply explained that we’ve only just moved in and weren’t acquainted with the previous occupants.

Earlier today, we received a call from this number and decided to give it a ring back. Turns out, it belongs to a debt collection agency. They seem to be sending letters to an address they’ve got for someone they’re trying to track down. What’s more, it looks like they’re even snooping around the neighbours, trying to get a tip-off about where this person might have disappeared to. Quite the shady tactics, if you ask me!

We've received a card urging us to contact "KUDOS" along with a reference number. When we attempted to call, it turned out that all lines were engaged. As tenants of our current property, we have some concerns about a former resident whom we suspect might have outstanding debts; it seems these individuals could easily reach out to our letting agency. Earlier today, we received a very similar postcard: "Kindly contact 'Kudos' at 0161 941 3232. Thank you, and remember to mention ref xxx." The postmark indicates Altrincham, Cheshire. I've yet to make the call. After browsing through earlier comments, it's worth mentioning that I've been residing here for over a decade and have no knowledge of the previous occupants. It strikes me as rather odd that there isn't a more direct and less unsettling approach for these folks to gather the information they seem to want. It’s no wonder this kind of thing sets people on edge!

Earlier on today, we received a card urging us to ring 0161 941 3232 and provide them with Reference number *****. Did a bit of digging and discovered that this number belongs to some legal high-flyers. Truth be told, I wasn’t feeling intimidated, so I decided to give them a bell. Turns out they were inquiring about a former neighbour of mine, but we’ve never crossed paths with the chap before! To their credit, they were quite polite and expressed appreciation for the call. Hope this info is of use to someone.

We had a similar experience with the card here. Our neighbouring flat was let out, but the tenants did a disappearing act, leaving behind quite a bit of debt around five years back. It fits perfectly with what Emma mentioned on the 28th of October.

We also received one of those cards and decided to give this number a call. We spoke with a lovely lady who informed us that they're quite experienced in locating individuals for various reasons. As it turns out, we are indeed the individuals they were trying to find. After our call, the attorney reached out to us and let us know that we’re beneficiaries in a will - a distant relative, mind you - and we’re entitled to a modest sum of money. It's certainly worth making that call!

I received a call from this number (0161 9413232) earlier today, attempting to reach someone who hasn't been at my address for quite some time. They were quite tight-lipped about their purpose, merely identifying themselves as Kudos Legal Support Services. A quick search online turned up very little information about them, raising my suspicions that they might be some sort of debt collectors. Today, we received a card addressed to "The Occupier," requesting us to give them a ring on the number provided and reference some code. Are these folks possibly debt collectors? The previous owner of our home had quite a few financial troubles, but we moved in back in '86, and it seems all the calls from debt collectors ceased shortly after that. We've chosen not to ring the number either. But I can't help but wonder if there's any risk involved in calling a regular landline number like that.
