They rang me a couple days back and hung up because I was being quite rude.

These PPI claim people are asking for your name and dob saying they can get you thousands back. They said they'd send some documents too. I wasted like 15 mins chatting rubbish cos I never had a Barclay card! Only pick up if yer up for wasting their time.

Got a call again, maybe the fifth time now. I was nice at first since I didn’t know who was calling, but when I realised it was some sales pitch, I asked them to take me off their list. The bloke replied with “No love, can’t do that” and then just hung up on me. I’ve blocked the number straight away after that!

Got a call from a woman using this number. She didn't say who she was or what company she was from, just launched straight into the PPI spiel. When I told her I know people in that line of work already and don't need assistance, she just cut me off immediately. Honestly, that sort of attitude on the phone makes it feel like a scam to me.

Got a call and picked up thinking it was someone I was waiting for. A guy called 'Mark' with a strong accent said I qualified for PPI. I told him I'm under 18, then ended the call. He called again, so I blocked the number. Didn't stop though, left me 4 voicemails in just 10 minutes, all begging me to call back straight away!

How come they got hold of my number? I’m nowhere near Manchester at all. I’ve blocked them, you should probably do the same.

Got a call where they said I'd be getting a letter soon, but I didn't quite catch their name or what it was for. Then they started asking about any mortgages I might have. I ended the call straight away. They rang back right away, saying they just needed to ask a few yes or no questions. I told them I wasn’t interested and doubted I had anything to do with them. Then I heard a surprised "Why!!!?" before I put the phone down.

They keep calling about PPI, even after I told them to stop. This number's on the do not call list, so not sure why they're still ringing me. Proper dodgy these calls.

This number keeps calling me loads, super annoying. They were asking me yes or no questions about ppi, said they’d send a letter but then wanted my name and postcode??? If they’re calling to inform me, they should already have those details. Then they asked which bank I use, I told them if they’re calling, they should know that stuff and refused to say. After that, they passed me to some so-called manager who started asking which bank I was with?! I said his behaviour was really unprofessional and hung up. Looks like another dodgy scam, definitely block this number!!

Crikey! I received an absolute barrage of six calls in just one day from that pesky number 01619390454. The first one came through at 8:45 in the morning, followed by five more on my landline, and then one on my mobile too! I've finally had enough and blocked it on my phone. What a nuisance!

I got a call and gave my usual reply, told them I'm 19 and this is my phone, and that I don't have any PPI. When she mentioned that my parents bought the phone, I said yes but they already looked into the PPI thing and there wasn’t any. She just kept insisting otherwise, like she wasn’t hearing me. Honestly, what’s wrong with these callers? Then she said they'd be sending a letter but also wanted to call back later? Why bother with both? Totally confusing lol.

I just had an unsettling experience on my mobile. A chap named Mark Williamson rang me, claiming I was owed a refund from my PPI claim. However, he skipped the bit about which company he represented. When I probed about their registration with Companies House, he assured me they were indeed registered. He mentioned his firm was PPI TEAM, so I asked him for their registration number. He provided one: 7554410. A quick search revealed it to be registered as LEPUS MARKETING LIMITED, incorporated on 7 March 2011, at 1st Floor Marsland House, Marsland Road, Sale, Cheshire, M33 3AQ. Clearly, this doesn’t match up with PPI TEAM at all. When I confronted him about the inconsistencies in his claims, he became rather abrasive. Please take heed, folks-this is clearly a scam!!!! - caller: 01619390454

I’m done picking up for this number since the people calling won’t say where they got my details from. They rang me 7 times today alone. I followed some advice and called the actual company behind this number 02070602000, told them I was speaking to my lawyer. Sadly, “digital mail services” aren’t exactly honest folk, and hopefully they’ll get what they deserve soon. Just block it and share this everywhere you can.

Absolute nightmare of a phone number! Constantly bombarded by dodgy callers. The individuals on the other end of the line lack even a shred of politeness. This number appears to be a sham, likely rerouted and farmed out through some digital service. Do yourself a favour and block it immediately, or at the very least, ignore it and share your experience so others can steer clear of these crooks. - Caller type: Scammer

This number is linked to Digital Mail Ltd, 6 Osborn Street, London E1 6TD. They might not be the ones actually ringing us, but they’re definitely benefiting from their clients annoying us. Maybe think about (nicely) giving them a bit of the hassle as well: t: 020 7060 2000

I’ve discovered that this number is affiliated with Digital Mail Ltd, located at 6 Osborn Street, London E1 6TD. While they’re not the ones directly ringing us, they certainly benefit from their clients causing us distress. If you’d like to return the favour (in a civilised manner), perhaps drop them a line at t: 020 7060 2000.

Just received a call from this number, and I pride myself on being savvy enough to avoid scams, yet I must admit the woman on the line was rather persuasive. Before I knew it, I had shared an email address-thankfully, it’s not one I regularly use. She claimed that I was owed a whopping £3500 in PPI for loans I borrowed a decade back. It has me wondering, how on earth do they have access to such details? Or are they simply exceptionally skilled at manipulation? What have I gotten myself into?

I’ve just received a call from someone posing as a PPI firm; they’ve managed to get my address and date of birth. Has anyone got any tips on how to reach out to them? I’m quite keen on giving them a piece of my mind - the number was 0161 939 0454, from Manchester, by the way.

I received a call from this number earlier today. The person on the line claimed to be part of a PPI team and requested my address along with my date of birth. They mentioned that they would be sending me some sort of foam in the mail within the next few days, as per the so-called manager's words. The number in question is 01619390454.

I've received a staggering seven calls from this number, despite repeatedly informing them that I've blacklisted their contact. It's becoming quite frustrating, and I'm at a loss for how to put an end to it. Surely there must be some regulations or authorities I can reach out to, as this feels like nothing short of harassment and an intrusion on my personal space.

I've been receiving persistent phone calls, and more often than not, the callers end up sheepishly apologising. Just now, I had yet another call, which escalated into a heated confrontation. The chap on the line was shouting, insisting that he wouldn't bother calling if I wasn't due any money. When I probed him for my details, he abruptly cut the conversation short and hung up. Quite the spectacle, really!

This caller rang me again for the second time. She kept going on about credit cards and stuff. I told her to stop calling me or I’d have to report her to the police. I mentioned she already called the other day. I've now blocked the number. Watch out for these types!

It’s one of those PPI claim calls, just wind them up a bit and drop a text with some random words. It really confuses their call system.

Got a call this morning from some lady claiming to be from a PPI company, I just cut the call straight away without even saying anything. Then she rang back later on and asked why I was being so unfriendly. I told her nicely to leave me alone. Blocked the number after that.

A bloke rang me in the morning and I told him I was only 16 so I couldn’t get a loan, then I ended the call. Later, a woman phoned asking about the loan, and again I said I was too young. She then said to put my mum on the line. I told her my mum wasn’t around and asked why she was calling my number to speak to her. She replied, ‘you’re a rude little kid’ and just hung up on me.

Extremely unpleasant and arrogant lady talking about PPI, kept claiming I'd had a credit card in the past 15 years. She refused to listen when I asked her to delete my info from their records, kept talking over me and raising her voice more and more. When I told her I had her number and would report her for harassment, she just cut me off. Usually, I like to mess around with these callers but this one was really harsh, I could see how older folks might feel scared by her. I've blocked her number on my phone now.

Some bloke with a Caribbean accent rang me, said he was calling about a letter that’s on its way to me. I don’t get why he’d bother phoning if a letter’s coming through the post anyway. Seems like a total scam to me.

Got six calls from this number in just a couple minutes (I work as a driver so couldn’t pick up while drivin). It kept ringing and I ended up stopping the bus I was driving (with passengers onboard) to answer, thinking it might be my mum’s partner who’s quite poorly right now. All I heard was call centre noise, someone swearing, then they hung up. Properly annoying for me and the people on the bus. After seeing what others said here, I’ve blocked the number now!

They've rung me loads, and today guy was really rude and cocky. I asked nicely for them to take my number off their list but he said it doesn’t matter and kept going. He kept banging on about PPI even though I never asked for it. When I tried to stop him, he told me to shut up and let him finish. I asked again to be removed but he just wouldn’t listen, so I ended up hanging up.

This guy was proper rude and aggressive, shouting at me even after I told him I’ve never had PPI. I ended the call but he kept ringing me back until I picked up again. Then he started saying I was wasting his and his company’s time. He also warned that if I hang up or don’t answer, they’d call me back five times! Super unpleasant and pushy. I've been bombarded with calls from someone claiming I've got a refund waiting for me. They keep asking for my bank details and the name of my bank! I'm absolutely tired of this nonsense. Despite my attempts to block them, they just keep coming back. The caller sounds like a crafty individual, a woman with an African accent, really convincing. But I know it's nothing but a scam - classic PPI trickery. Utterly fed up with it!

I had an unsettling encounter with a rather obnoxious chap sporting an Australian twang, claiming to be a line manager for some PPI claims firm. The thing is, I don't have any financial ties whatsoever-no credit cards, no loans, not even a mortgage to my name. When I tried to clarify this, he outright accused me of deceit! I ended up hanging up, only for him to ring me back. I chose not to pick up on the second call, but wouldn't you know it, he attempted to contact me yet again! When I finally answered, he had the cheek to ask why I was being unpleasant! I reiterated that I had no involvement with PPI and mentioned being on a do-not-call list, but he just insisted I was fibbing. After that, I swiftly hung up and blocked the number. Shocking experience with a truly dreadful company! - Number: 0161 939 0454, Manchester, UK.

Some bloke calling himself Mr Williams phoned me, trying to fish for my personal financial details. He said he’d send me something in the post, but first wanted me to share all sorts of sensitive info. I told him to just send it by post and we’d check it out, then he got all angry saying, ‘it’ll just be a blank page, is that what you want?’ I shot back with, ‘if you’re happy to waste your stamps, go ahead.’ Didn’t seem to like that at all. He got even more aggressive and then hung up. I’ve blocked the number now.

I got a call today from 0161 939 0454. I picked up thinking it might be something important. The person said I was owed money from a ppi claim. I told them I never had a ppi claim. Then they asked ‘how do you know that?’ So I explained. I asked where they got my number from as they didn’t know my name and just called me ma’am. They said it was from a database and even repeated my number back to me. Then they started talking about sending a letter to my address. When I said I wasn’t interested, they just kept going on, so I ended the call.

This particular number seems to ring me about three or four times daily. When I pick up, there's nothing but silence on the other end. I end up hanging up. For the past three years, my landline has been inundated with calls from this number and similar 0161 939 digits, even though I've registered with the Telephone Preference Service. Every time I pick up, it’s always the same rigmarole. Some bloke on the other end insists I’ll be receiving correspondence about my PPI claim. I keep telling them, "Feel free to send the PPI details you have on record," but they always respond with, ”Could you confirm your address?” I promptly retort, “Why not check what you’ve got on file?” But the chap insists he can't for reasons tied to the data protection regulations. Clearly, this is just a cold call from Digital Mail’s clientele. I kindly request that he take my number off their list since I’m no longer interested, only to have him say, “Don’t you want your free money back?” Their idea of ‘free’ is baffling when I’ve already paid for it! When I pressed him further for his company’s registered address, he dodged the question repeatedly. He kept claiming he wasn’t selling anything, just following up on some supposed PPI claim I supposedly made. I clarified that I had no interest in any of his offers and hadn’t made such a request. When I asked where he was calling from, he hesitated before answering "Manchester". Eventually, I hung up on him, but naturally, the phone rang again. By this point, I’ve decided not to answer anymore as they’d been ringing two to three times a day. I discovered these callers might not even be based in the UK! This call centre has been relentless for almost three years, despite my nearly endless complaints asking them to cease calling. I now categorise these incessant calls as harassment. I’ve even found out that this call centre lacks proper authorisation under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 to conduct any regulated business in the UK, including PPI refunds. After discussing the behaviour of their clients with Digital Mail, their support manager assured me that they do not provide outbound calling services to anyone. Any calls I receive from their numbers are apparently spoofed by someone else. After visiting their website, dmconnect12.com, I was met with nothing but fabrications from their support team, known as Dee and Club Support. This South African call centre has misused Digital Mail's numbers to make these dubious calls, trying to pass themselves off as a reputable UK business. The irony is rich, with these overseas operatives just phishing for information. Rest assured, I intend to report Digital Mail to Action Fraud due to their role in supplying these numbers for such dubious practices. These calls are nothing but a thinly veiled scam! If you dare to return any of their calls, you’ll find yourself redirected to 0870 446 0870 for supposed more information, only to be cut off immediately after the first ring and charged a premium for your trouble. Occasionally, you might endure a recorded message full of information you’re already well aware of-absolutely useless. Digital Mail has zero interest in stopping these foreign callers, as they’re profiting from them. The whole operation reeks of deception! - caller: Digital Mail Ltd

Got a call from this number, some young woman claiming to be from the ‘Payment Protection Unit’ about my PPI. I told her I’ve never had PPI, but she kept insisting I must’ve had it without knowing. When I questioned where she got my number from, she said it was from some PPI database. I asked her to take me off that list, and she suddenly went silent. The line stayed open though, so after a bit I cheekily asked if she was hard of hearing... and she just hung up! Another nuisance number gone. Honestly, when will the authorities actually do something to stop these annoying cold calls?!
