some woman called from robinson way, asked for my husband about something personal, sounded like she was asian and spoke really bad english, was like someone else was guiding her what to say in the background. told them to send a message instead. told them not to ring again, but they keep calling every few days for weeks. i just ignore the calls now.

Loads of silent calls from this number after I checked 1471. I told them I don’t owe anything and I’m actually disallowed, but every time I call back no one answers. It’s really annoying since I’m signed up with the Telephone Preference Service. They promised to take my number off their list straight away, but less than a week later I got another silent call at 7:50pm. Called again today asking for the manager and just got put on hold forever. I think my only choice now is to report them to the TPS.

this company keeps ringing my elderly mum who’s just lost her husband, and it’s really upsetting her. they’re looking for someone who lived here more than 30 years ago, but even after she told them she’s not that person, they keep on calling. she’s ended up in tears a few times because of it and today she actually fell after answering one of their calls ‘cause she was so stressed out. these people clearly couldn’t care less about anyone. i don’t know how they can sleep at night knowing the hurt they’re causing.

What's baffling is that they never reveal their identity or their purpose for calling. It's quite odd, really. Discovering that others have encountered the same situation offers a bit of comfort, I must admit. Often, the caller hangs up abruptly or leaves a message that sounds like a repetitive "hi hi," as if they’re searching for someone who isn't even in this household. Our voicemail system seems to capture most of these attempts, and we rarely pick up the phone in real time, which has turned rather maddening. It’s becoming quite bothersome, as our voicemail is becoming cluttered with these unnecessary messages.

Received a call from this number yet again, and once more they claimed it was of a personal nature. However, having experienced their silence during previous calls, I find it quite disconcerting. We’ve received a call from this number quite a few times recently. They rang three times the other day alone. The first time, we answered, but there was complete silence on the other end. The next couple of calls came while I was out, and they didn’t bother leaving a message. Just moments ago, they tried again asking for someone named 'Peter', who doesn’t reside here. When I informed her she’d got the wrong number, she outright asked, 'Is this not Nestle?'. Quite odd, considering it’s a debt collection agency!

I've been getting a right nuisance from these callers, always asking for individuals who aren't even associated with this address. It's utterly baffling why they persist. We've raised our concerns with Ofcom - when enough folks voice their grievances, those pesky callers stand a chance of being hit with a fine!

this company called robinson way from stockport deals with debt collection. they keep chasing money even when the debts are past the 6 year limit. they call me multiple times each day and have been doing so for more than a year now, even though i've told them countless times they have no right to enforce anything.

Absolutely. It's those Robinson Way debt collectors again. They often bombard us with calls from the number 0161 935 2201, ringing both our mobile and home phone around four or five times a day. Luckily, we've blocked that number, so we don't hear from them anymore. This was the first time we've had a call from this particular number, as they usually just leave us in silence. However, when you do get someone on the line, they can be extremely rude. It's nothing short of harassment. Honestly, their staff seem to be functioning on a single shared braincell! There's really no point in trying to have a proper conversation with them. We've even decided to send them a banana for Christmas just for a laugh!

Absolutely! I can confirm that it’s the folks at Robinson Way Debt Collection. They have a rather unpleasant habit of ringing us on 0161 935 2201 roughly four or five times a day, targeting both our mobile and landline. Thankfully, we've managed to block their number, so this is the very first time they’ve managed to reach us from a different line. Usually, it’s just silent calls that we receive. However, when they finally decide to engage, their rudeness is simply astonishing. It feels like nothing short of harassment. Honestly, their team appears to function with a single shared intellect! Engaging in any sort of dialogue with them is utterly pointless. We've even cheekily sent them a banana as a festive gesture!
