I received a phone call purporting to be from BT Technical Support, inquiring if I could access my computer. I mentioned that I was rather preoccupied at the moment, and suddenly, they just hung up on me!

A caller provided me with this number, asserting it belongs to the Microsoft Technical Support team. This marks the third time he has reached out, insisting that unidentified hackers are attempting to breach my computers. He is pressuring me to provide my email address and to verify my Microsoft licence number. After receiving the call yesterday-I checked using 1471-I discovered that this number has an alarming number of warnings associated with it. Many have reported similar unsolicited calls, all erroneously purporting to be from Microsoft Tech Support.
