Got a call from someone saying they were with Microsoft, saying our PC was hacked. They gave me a licence number and asked me to turn on the computer so they could show me some 'reports'. I told them my computer wasn’t on and that it takes ages to start up. Decided not to go any further with it. Said I’d look into the licence number and ended the call. After I hung up, the same number rang me two more times, then a different one (01202-158487) called too. Didn’t answer that one either, then checked it here and sure enough, it’s listed as a scam.
