When I asked who was calling, they said HRS or something like that. They already had all my info from some online survey I did, and claimed I’d asked for a life insurance quote (which I never did). I told them I hadn’t agreed to be contacted, but they insisted I had, then rattled off my email, date of birth, and full name. I told them to delete my info, they asked if I actually had life insurance, I repeated to remove my details and that I wasn’t talking about it. They said they’d do it and then just hung up.

It seems that a company named Home Data Research from Altrincham, Manchester has taken upon themselves to bother me incessantly. For several months now, they’ve been ringing me daily at precisely 7:29 in the evening, which has been quite disruptive as it consistently rouses my newborn. More often than not, they seem to hang up as soon as I pick up. On a couple of occasions, I did manage to have a chat-once in a rather civil tone where I kindly requested they cease their calls, but to no avail!
