On the 9th of October 2020, at about 9:33 in the morning, I got a call from this number. When I picked up, there was a recorded message saying something like: “Your HMRC account has an issue. Press 1 to speak with someone. If you ignore this, a warrant will be issued and you could be arrested.” The voice was a man’s and sounded really strict, kinda believable to some. Honestly, anyone using this to scare people is just awful, and I really hope this leads to them getting caught!
