Got a call from someone saying he’s Mark from the government insurance dept, claiming they’d taken over my case from the RTA. Apparently, I’ve got some compensation waiting from an accident I had a couple of years ago. He said they were based in Liverpool but when I asked for an office address, he couldn’t give one. The call actually seemed to be coming from Manchester, which just made me more suspicious.

These people are such a nightmare, really annoying. I’m seriously thinking about going down the legal route to sort these jerks out.

Just got another one of those annoying calls asking if I’d been in an accident. Classic scam trying to catch you off guard.
