Got a call from some scammer claiming they were from the tax office, said if I didn't hit 1 there’d be a warrant for my arrest. Who actually falls for that stuff? Thank goodness I didn’t press anything, no telling what kinda mess I’d have got myself into.

Got a call from a company calling themselves Claims Management Company. They said they got my info from some dodgy database. You can’t really call them back either. Best thing is don’t give them any of your info, just end the call and block the number straight away.

I got a call from some bloke named Umar at MPA Solicitors, said he could sort out "my money" in 25 days or less. Not sure where he pulled that number from, but I wasn't interested. Told him cheers, but no thanks!

I received a call from a firm that deals with accident management, inquiring about potential claims. When I pressed for their name and registration details with the Ministry of Justice, they stated they were from UK Legal Assist. This struck me as peculiar since UK Legal Assist’s office is located in Skelmersdale, yet the number displayed was a Manchester area code, 0161. When I mentioned that I hadn’t experienced any accidents, the caller rather bizarrely responded that my information was fake! Quite the odd encounter, indeed!

Today, on the 26th of August 2020, I received a rather unnerving call from 01619186677. The caller inquired about a supposed accident that I’ve never experienced. They even had the cheek to ask if any of my family had been involved in an accident! I told them I’d be notifying the authorities and promptly hung up. Ever since the lockdown started, these sorts of calls have been incessant, and they all seem to come from folks with remarkably similar accents! It’s quite maddening, really!

Got a call saying they were from a solicitor's office. When I asked what for, the guy said it was about some car crash compensation I hadn’t gotten yet. I told him I haven’t had a car accident in more than 30 years, and he flipped out, started shouting and calling me a liar!

There was a big pause before this guy with a foreign accent started talking, and you could hear loads of noise in the background like he was in some call centre. His English was really poor and he was pretty rude as well. I told him straight away to take my number off their list. Honestly, just don’t pick up if you get a call from this one.
