ended the call as soon as I heard the automated voice!

I got a call from 01619178855, some bloke wanting to chat about a car smash I supposedly had. I told them straight up that I haven’t been in any accident and to stop calling me. The guy on the other end had a bit of a foreign accent and I couldn’t even catch his name before I just ended the call.

0161 917 885 was calling, but honestly I couldn’t catch a word from the lady on the line. When I told her I wasn’t hearing her properly, she suddenly asked if I’d been in a car crash. I said no, we don’t even own a car, and then she just cut off the call. Bit strange if you ask me.

Whenever I answer and say hello, they just cut the call straight away. We’ve gotten loads of these types of calls, probably over 50 now. Definitely should be put on some kind of scammer blacklist just to be safe.

I answered saying hello a few times but the call just dropped on them. Annoying number, so I've blocked it now.

I kept saying hello over and over, then tried saying goodbye, but all I got was some kind of robotic voice answering.
