I've been receiving numerous missed calls lately, but my phone never actually rang. Curiously odd, isn't it?

I chose not to pick up this unidentified call, especially since it followed shortly after another one I had answered (with a London 0207 number). That one ended up being a return call to an 0333 number. As for the caller, I haven't a clue who it was, but it certainly felt like an unwelcome interruption!

I received a couple of calls this week, and rather oddly, both times the caller disconnected the line the instant I started inquiring about their identity and the purpose of their call. It’s plainly evident that this is some sort of dodgy scheme.

I received a rather perplexing phone call regarding a loan from TSB that supposedly I repaid way back in 2007. I informed the caller that I have never taken out any loans, yet he was adamant, claiming there was documentation backing his assertion. He went through my postcode and address, the source of which is a mystery to me. He mentioned that I would receive further information in the post and instructed me to wait for another representative to ring me. I agreed, but then I promptly ended the call-I simply couldn't take it any longer. They’ve tried reaching me again, but I chose not to respond this time. We’re becoming thoroughly exasperated with all these fraudulent calls, both on our landline and mobile devices; it’s truly infuriating!

Similar to what others have experienced, I received a call regarding a supposed loan from Lloyds TSB that I supposedly arranged five years back and supposedly paid off. I informed the caller that I’ve never actually taken out a loan with Lloyds TSB, to which he rather haughtily insisted it was about the Banking Group. When I expressed my confusion about his claims and inquired about his identity, he became quite hostile, insisting he had already revealed his affiliation. That’s when I decided to terminate the call.

Got a call from someone asking for a person who doesn’t live here anymore. I told them that, but they kept pushing me for my name. I even said I was the person they wanted, yet they wouldn't stop requesting my name. Eventually, I just ended the call.

I got an unexpected call from this number around 14:40 today. The person on the line mentioned an old loan of mine from a few years ago, which I apparently hadn’t claimed back any PPI on. They had specific dates and even knew which bank I used! I was cautious and refused to share my bank account information, though I did end up giving them my address and date of birth! They claimed they’d be sending me a form to fill in. Could this be a dodgy operation?
