4 yearsI received a call from a bloke with a rather peculiar accent, claiming to be from my bank. It was quite clear he was attempting to fish for my banking information. No chance, I’ve blocked him!4 yearsI've been getting calls from this number over and over, but they never leave any voicemail. Since I don't have any contacts in Manchester, I'm pretty sure it's just some kind of scam!Manchester4 yearsHad the call come through a few times within a couple of minutes but I just didn’t answer it xx4 yearsHe kicked off by saying I was the first person who'd actually been polite to him, then mentioned he was calling from "UK HABIT." He already had my name and address, but asked me to verify my name anyway. I told him the postcode he had was wrong, but he kept pushing for the right one. When I questioned why he needed it, he claimed it was to make sure he was talking to the correct person. I pointed out how that made no sense if his info was off. Then he said it was part of a survey about local brand preferences. I didn’t want to give out my real postcode, so he ended the call.UK HABIT4 yearsI usually avoid picking up calls from Manchester. Whenever I look them up afterwards, I find lots of people saying they’re scams.Manchester4 yearsI picked up, said hello and then right away they just cut the call. Strange!4 yearsSome bloke called, asked straight away for “I tell you” by name and even knew where I lived. Claimed he was from UK Habit or summat like that. Then goes all weird saying “I tell you I ask some questions”. First asked if I read the morning papers, I said nah, then if I watch telly, told him yes and he just hung up on me! What a waste of time. This ain’t the first time these foreign lads ring me, seems like they call nearly every day now 🤯🤯🤯. Really fishy if you ask me 🤨UK Habit4 yearsGot a call from an Asian guy who told me I was the politest person to answer first, even though I bluntly asked, "what’s this about?" He tried to tempt me with a £10 gift card but messed up my postcode. I knew it was a scam, so I just played along and said it was right. He even nodded along when I told him my favourite colour, acting like he believed it all.4 yearsThis number rang me and I just cut the call straight away. Then, no more than a minute had gone by and they called AGAIN! Of course, I hung up once more, but they tried ringing me again almost instantly. How’s that even doable, lol. Looks like a total scam to me.4 yearsI keep getting calls from a Manchester number I don’t recognise, and I’m pretty sure it’s a scam. I’ve never met anyone from Manchester anyway.Manchester4 yearsGot a call from this number the other day, some asian guy with a really polished way of talking, pretending to be from my bank. He kept asking for my account info, tried to sound like a genuine bank rep. Don't trust it!4 yearsThey keep ringing me from loads of different numbers, all obviously scams.
