The caller merely stated it was from a database and assured me my information was secure. I was taken aback and conveyed my disbelief at how they could assume my data was trustworthy, especially since I had never interacted with their company, yet here they were, ringing me up with both my postcode and name. Before I could elaborate further, they abruptly ended the call.

Got a ring from some so-called UK number but it was actually from Southeast Asia, totally faking it. They said they were from something like UK Habits or UK Lifestyle, total scammy vibes. They asked for me by name but didn’t even get my first name right - what a muppet. The bloke called himself Elvis, but before I could cheekily ask if he was working at the chippy, he’d already hung up. Ah well, missed out on a fish butty tonight, I suppose!

Not sure who this was calling from, but the number was from Manchester. They sounded polite enough but when I asked why they were ringing, the call just dropped. Figured it was some kind of spam so I’ve blocked the number now.
