Got another call from them today, so I popped their number into my phone under 'annoying spam'. When they rang, I picked up and immediately let them have it with some harsh words. She just said “don’t shout at me”, so I shouted louder telling her to stop calling and basically piss off. Honestly, it was kinda satisfying. What really gets me is how these scammers get hold of our phone numbers in the first place - that’s the real problem!

This number has been ringing me nonstop for the last few weeks, and whenever I pick up, the call just ends straight away so I can't tell them to stop. Today alone, I got 3 calls from them, and it's getting worse by the day. From what I’ve gathered reading other comments, it’s a sales company connected to O2. I'm a loyal O2 customer for over 12 years, so I reckon I’ll drop into my local store and politely give them a bit of feedback on how they could actually keep customers instead of annoying us.

Cambridgeshire: Got 3 missed calls in just 2 days. Heard from loads of people they pretend to be (or call for) O2, which is total rubbish. The only way to make them stop ringing is to just ignore them completely. Let them keep calling, waste their own time. Don’t pick up, but don’t block them either - let them quit first. This number rang me a total of 6 times. The first call was on 01/10/15, where I spoke to a bloke saying he was from O2, trying to offer me a better deal on my pay-as-you-go. I told him no thanks. Then, from 16/10/15 to 19/10/15, they called me another 5 times! On the last call, I finally picked up and got another guy with the same spiel. Still said no. These lot are definitely up to no good - watch out for them!

They say they're with O2 but they're not. After they get your phone number, they keep ringing non stop. If you're on a mobile, try using the harassment filter and block the number causing the hassle. The phone might still ring once or twice but then it should block the call automatically. Hope that helps!

I phoned O2's customer support earlier and, to my surprise, they admitted it was actually a call from one of their outsourced call centres. Just tell ’em you’re on a different network and if they keep ringing you, you’ll report the number for being a nuisance. They say they're from O2, but honestly O2 wouldn’t be so pushy or keep calling me since I’m not even with them.

This number has been blowing up my nan's landline constantly, and every time they shout awful stuff down the phone. She’s 85, barely gets around, and shouldn’t have to deal with this kinda thing. Now it’s happening to me too on my mobile, which is brand new and only shared with family and close mates, so I’m baffled how they got it. If it keeps up, I’m definitely reporting it to the cops for harassing and abusing an elderly lady like that.
