I’ve just received another call from this number and I didn't answer. I’m absolutely fed up with these scam calls. Just because someone speaks with an upper-class accent doesn’t mean they can be trusted. So be cautious - don’t engage! HR certainly wouldn’t reach out this way.

Like others here, I got a recorded call claiming to be from HMRC about some fraud involving me. It told me to press 1 to speak with someone. Best just to ignore and end the call straight away.

I recently received a rather unsettling call from +1618987254. An automated male voice claimed to be from HMRC, saying I was under investigation for fraud. It urged me to press 1, mentioning that a warrant would be issued for me imminently. Naturally, I pressed 1 out of sheer curiosity, only to hear someone on the other end abruptly say goodbye. When I tried to call the number back, I was met with a message saying I’d dialled an incorrect number. Quite bizarre, to say the least!

Got a robo call from HMRC saying there's fraud linked to me. They kept telling me to press 1 or I'd get arrested right away. Proper dodgy if you ask me.

I got an automated call from HM Customs and Excise saying if I didn’t press 1 to talk to an agent, they’d issue a warrant against me. Sounded dodgy to me.
