Over the past few days, I've received quite a few calls from folks claiming they're from PC World or Currys, but I reckon they're faking it.

Got a call at like 2:56 in the morning. I didn't pick up cause it woke me up out of a daze.

There’s this dodgy woman from Prestwich, Lisa Murray Degisi, who’s well known round here for dodgy dealings. You can spot her on Facebook showing off her posh house and flashy motors, but trust me, none of that is from a proper honest wage. Her clueless boyfriend, Reno, ain't much better - never seen him do a real job either. Then there’s his brother, Tony Degisi, looks more like he’d run a little corner shop than live large. Heard he’s into young lasses and a bit of coke now and then. Oh and their mate, Stuwart Hall? Total troublemaker, a proper sted.

I tried calling the number back but it just gave three quick beeps and didn’t actually ring.

Got two calls back to back on my phone but they just hung up straight away. When I answered the second call, no one said anything and then they just ended it. These scammy companies are so irritating, I'm getting really tired of having to keep blocking their numbers.

Had two calls back to back on my phone, missed both. The numbers were 01618971847 and then 016108971558. Definitely gonna block them now.

Got a call today 8/10/18 at about 9:39am on my phone that’s on the TPS list. It was a recorded message from a woman saying something like, "Hi, if you owe over £6000, and can manage repayments of £80 a month, you might qualify for a free government debt help plan. Press 5 for details, or press 9 to stop receiving calls." I didn’t press any buttons, it just repeated itself a couple of times, then cut off when I still didn’t respond. Totally dodgy and obviously against the rules - “free government debt scheme”? Yeah, right, as if!

My missus keeps getting calls from 0161 897 1847 and 0161 897 1558. Honestly, no idea how they got hold of her number. Pretty sure they’re just annoying scammy types.

I got a voicemail about some debt thing, sounded like one of those automated calls. Didn’t catch much but it was definitely about owing money or something. Pretty annoying to get such calls out of the blue!

I picked up the phone and there was total silence on the other end. Since my phone is on the TPS, I’m really baffled as to how they even managed to call me. I've gone ahead and reported it to Ofcom because it seems like one of those silent calls.

I didn’t pick up the call since the number looked unfamiliar to me. I’ve been registered with the TPS using the same phone for more than a decade, so it’s quite concerning. I’ve made a report to the ICO about this.

Got a call through Viber from what sounded like some dodgy debt help place. I reckon it was either a load of rubbish about managing debts or they were trying to get me to hit a button that might charge me. Either way, total scam and a right pain in the neck.

I called but no one picked up, feels like they just wanna trick you into ringing them back so they can charge you loads on your phone bill. Best not to ring them again.

Got a voicemail from some gov debt help thing, but they never said who they were. I told them to stop and that I’m on the TPS. They didn’t seem bothered. Had to block their number after that.

Got a call earlier today but when I answered, there was no sound on the other end. Then I got another call from a London area code and it was the exact same silence. Yesterday I joined some online contest to win a signed vinyl boxset and gave them my phone number, hoping they'd keep it private. Feels like my info might have been shared or sold even though they said they wouldn't do that :(
