Somebody called me saying they’re from HMRC and that there’s a fraud case against me and I need to press 1 to sort it out. I didn’t press anything because I know I haven’t done anything wrong. I checked the number through this site and it’s linked to Swansea. Surely this is a scam because HMRC never chat about stuff like this without proper ID checks. I think this number is dodgy and should be avoided.
