I've just had a rather disconcerting call from an individual purporting to be a BT representative. The caller, who mentioned they were an advisor at BT, seemed rather insistent that they were reaching out on behalf of the company. However, I can confirm that BT did not make this call. They attempted to gain access to my laptop under the pretense of rectifying a supposed issue with my line. The number displayed was 01213681696, which I suspect is dodgy. Just a heads up to everyone out there!
