10 yearsI got a call from someone named Graham Robinson claiming to be a solicitor based in London, but the number is clearly from Manchester. He kept insisting that we send cash through MoneyGram to Naples because we supposedly had a huge payout owed to us due to some mishandled PPIS thing - turns out it was all a load of rubbish. He even said he’d visit our house with a cheque, which sounds a bit off, right? When do solicitors actually show up at your door? Plus, that’s quite a journey from Manchester to Portsmouth - maybe he's got a private jet funded by all the people he’s conned. If this number calls you, don’t hesitate, just contact the police.
