Got a missed call on my mobile from this number, so I looked it up and found it was flagged as a scam about 4 years back. Decided to just block it.

Got a call today from someone saying they were from 02, going on about some data deals and then asked for my bank details and card info. They even sent me a text that looked like it was from 02 to make it seem legit.

Got a call from a woman asking for Mr Ellis. I said she must have the wrong number, and without a word, she just ended the call. No one named Ellis has ever lived at my address, and I’ve had the same landline for almost two decades.

Somebody rang me asking about a job I had ages ago in a factory, saying I might be entitled to a lump sum if I had audiology reports. Thing is, I’ve never had any hearing tests cause I hear perfectly fine. They just ended the call after that. Then today, a different caller - a woman - phoned asking for my son. When I told her he was out at work, she just hung up. Strange calls both times.

This number kept ringing me like 14 times today non stop and started threatening me as well. I’ve now got the police involved, they have listened to the calls and there’s recordings of him too. He didn’t even believe it was the cops when they spoke to him. So yeah, the police are handling it now. If he keeps bothering you, I’d just advise to call the police straight away since they’re already onto him.

The person on the phone claimed their info said my dad worked in some industry, but mum corrected them and said he’s actually been disabled his whole life.
