They’ve rung me more than ten times from loads of numbers all beginning with 0161884 but ending with different digits each time. The caller said I’d won the Euromillions and told me to give them my bank details and sort code to get the prize. I’m not sure how they even got hold of my name and address. No matter how many times I block the calls, they just ring from new numbers. It’s really starting to feel like harassment.

Seems like I’m always getting calls from some guy in Manchester, it’s like every other ring is him. This time he was talking about a car insurance claim or something, but I don’t even drive! Told them straight away to take my number off their list.

Got a call from this Manchester number, some recorded message saying there's a HMRC fraud case against me and to press 1 to deal with it. Nope, not falling for that. I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

A chap rang me up claiming to represent a lottery, insisting I’d entered a competition and struck lucky with a number of free lines for the national lottery. He mentioned that as it was part of a syndicate, if anyone picked up a win, I’d be in for a slice of the action. Oddly enough, he was fully aware of my name, email, phone number, and even my home address without me having shared a thing. Best to stay vigilant, everyone!

Somebody saying they're calling from the national lottery woke me up. I told them I was working a night shift and just about to fall asleep, so now I’m going to be tired and not at my best for the patients. She apologised and I ended the call. Constant nuisance calls like this, they never stop.
