This woman rings up saying, "Hello, how are you?" and I ask who's calling. She says she’s from Connex and wants to talk to whoever sorts the phone bills for the business. Then she goes on about how they can save me loads compared to BT and wants to do a cost comparison. I already use a different provider for exactly that reason. I told her no thanks and ended the call. Feels like one of those companies you really don’t want to get involved with.

I received an infuriating call from a right muppet who believed he could argue that the Telephone Preference Service was irrelevant just because his number wasn't listed. I didn't hold back in expressing my frustration, making it abundantly clear that whether his number was on there or not was of no consequence; mine certainly was, and I was set on filing a complaint with the TPS. He then had the audacity to 'offer' to take my number off their list, to which I told him to shove his offer where the sun doesn't shine. I'll handle my removal myself, thank you very much! I received a bothersome call from an absolute numpty who absurdly tried to claim that the Telephone Preference Service had no relevance because his number wasn't registered. In rather blunt terms, I made it clear that whether his number was listed or not was irrelevant; mine certainly was, and I'd be lodging a formal complaint with the TPS very shortly. He then had the audacity to suggest he could remove my number from their records, to which I tersely replied that I’d handle it myself, thank you very much. Now it shows up as a scam on my phone. First time I answered there was no one there, and they keep calling nonstop. Definitely scammers and fraudsters. I’m trying a fun tactic - I take these numbers and use them to sign up on sites that need a phone number, then put these dodgy ones in. Hopefully they’ll end up ringing each other and the whole phone scam network will just collapse.
