Got a call claiming to be from O2, saying I’d get a discount for sticking with them for years. They said they’d send me a code via text to activate it. When the message came through, it had a one-time code and a warning from O2 saying never share that code if someone calls asking for it. I told the person I wasn’t buying it and suspected they wanted to get into my account. They just ended the call straight away. Seriously, don’t give out any info to anyone pretending like this!

Got another dodgy call today. What’s really helped cut down on these scam calls for me is just letting out a loud whistle straight into the phone - it’s been surprisingly good at scaring them off! Honestly, I reckon most of these scammers have knocked me off their call sheets now, haha. Definitely worth a go if you’re fed up with constant scams.
