Got a call from a Manchester number, but the person on the other end said they were from Loans2go. Turned out to be some Indian call centre ringing through that UK number.

Just the other day, we received a call from the same bunch of individuals. They asked us to pay an upfront fee of £80, which left us feeling rather suspicious. I'm curious if anyone else has had a similar experience and could shed some light on whether this was a legitimate request or merely a scam. The name they gave was Keith. Any insights would be much appreciated!

Avoid 1st in Loans like the plague! This lot could drag you into a massive con. They’ll reach out claiming you’ve applied for a loan and then ask for your initial monthly payment before you even see a penny. They’ll instruct you to send cash through MoneyGram or Western Union to various individuals. Whatever you do, steer clear of this! If they ring you, make sure to report them to the scam unit at your local police station. Just a friendly reminder to keep your distance from these dodgy operators!

This is an utter deception! Whatever you do, steer clear of sending any funds to these individuals, especially through MoneyGram to India-it's a total swindle. If you happen to receive a call from anyone using names like Rinhen Norble, Christopher Jones, Cheid Martins, or Nima Tashi, don’t fall for their tricks. These folks are definitely up to no good. Take heed and protect yourself!

I fell victim to a scam from FirstinLoans just yesterday, and I can't fathom how they’re still operating! A chap named Neil Johnson charmed me into coughing up an initial payment of £93. Then, another call came in from a Jon Chan based in India, insisting I transfer £149 through Western Union. They promised a payout of £3,149 in return, but honestly, I should've seen the red flags earlier! Just a word of caution to everyone out there-stay vigilant!

I can’t believe we fell for their trickery and ended up losing £198, which has really put us in a precarious position financially. It’s rather disheartening, to say the least. Now, we've had to resort to borrowing from mates just to cover the exact amount they were after! Any suggestions on how we might reclaim our lost funds? They did send us an email, but I’m not quite sure what to make of it.

What a rip-off! I strongly advise you not to part with any of your cash, especially via MoneyGram to India. It's nothing but a total con job. If you happen to receive a call from anyone named Rinhen Norble, Christopher Jones, Cheid Martins, or Nima Tashi, do not be deceived by their ruses. They are nothing more than scammers trying to get one over on you. Take heed and stay safe!
