About the boiler replacement call I got down here in the South West - I hadn’t asked for any info or calls, so I kept asking where he got my details from. He claimed he was ‘from the government’. Every time he spoke, I had to ask him to say it again. He asked if my boiler was older than 18 years. Pretty quick, he got annoyed with all my questions. I left him on hold for a bit. Sounds like someone was feeding him lines. When he hung up, I just blocked the number straight away.

So my husband picked up this call and the person on the line, who sounded Asian, was trying to sell loft insulation. He told them we actually live in a tent, and they hung up pretty quick after that.
