They keep calling me several times every day, and whenever I pick up, they’re always trying to pitch some upgrade for life insurance. The thing is, I don’t even have life insurance in the first place. I’m a bit hard of hearing and not very mobile, so it’s really annoying for me. I genuinely feel sorry for others who have it worse or for elderly folks who get bombarded like this. It honestly feels like harassment, and it’s unfair they can just keep bothering us, especially since blocking their number doesn’t help - they just come through with a different one each time.

Someone called me saying my life insurance provider had updated their rules and asked me to find my policy papers to check if I qualified for a discount. They already had my name, email, and who I was insured with, which seemed pretty believable. The guy on the phone was very smooth. Naturally, I asked for written or email proof of who they were, and he promised to send it immediately. I never received anything. I’ve called back 7 times in the past two days with no luck. I’d recommend blocking this number for everyone - looks like fraudsters to me!

So this number just kept ringing all day, saying they're from some company named 'Vesta' or something, offering supposed upgrades on life insurance. Felt off straight away - is this a scam maybe? They never bothered to leave a voicemail either, which just made it super frustrating. I reckon if your life insurance really had any updates or changes, your insurer would contact you properly, not by some random call like this. Definitely fishy!
