A little over a year ago, I reached out to them regarding my PPI, and I only completed an initial set of paperwork without ever signing anything further. Today, out of the blue, they called to inform me that my claim has been successful and that I've been taxed on the amount. To top it off, they're asking for £2,100 for their services, which is half of what I've supposedly received. After doing a bit of research online, it seems that I shouldn't be taxed on this at all. I'm in a bit of a quandary here-should I just settle their request, or is it wise to question it? It feels like a hefty sum to part with, and I'm feeling quite uncertain about the whole situation. Any advice would be appreciated! 🤔

I've been receiving calls from the Claims Advisory Group regarding PPI claims, and it’s becoming rather tiresome. They seem rather relentless and won’t cease calling unless you either block the number or report them. I asked quite courteously for them to take me off their list, yet it seems my request fell on deaf ears.
