When I picked up the phone and greeted the caller, he immediately remarked that he wasn’t fond of my response and implied that I should have known who he was. He proceeded to accuse me of being rather impolite. As I tried to explain that it was merely a cold call and that I had no interest in engaging, he began to shout "wrong, wrong, wrong" at me through the receiver before abruptly disconnecting the call. Quite the peculiar experience, really!
