I received a call from an Indian call centre purporting to be representing EDF, but it turns out they have no legitimate ties to the company at all. After a bit of digging, I discovered that they are actually known as Energy Saving, which is quite different from the Energy Saving Trust. Just goes to show you how easily one can be misled by names that sound similar!

I've had my third call now, and it seems to be the same person with an Indian accent. They're quite pushy and rather discourteous, to be honest.

I've heard that they're supposedly a "wait and see" type of utility service, but honestly, they give off major con artist vibes. I decided to ring them back, and when I did, they insisted they operated out of Birmingham, which is absolute nonsense since this number is clearly from Manchester. As soon as I challenged them on their location, they abruptly hung up on me! They've been rather evasive about providing a proper business address too. Just a word of caution-stay alert, because these folks ought to be shut down for good!

They claimed to be "wait and see" utility companies. I gave them a ring again and made it abundantly clear that I won't hesitate to report them repeatedly until they put an end to their dodgy phone calls.

Numerous times a day, my 95-year-old father receives calls from these individuals. I've repeatedly requested that our information be taken out of their records, yet the calls persist. It's absolutely infuriating! Clearly, action is required to address this issue.

I received a call from someone who began by asking, rather pointedly, if I was a Muslim. I simply replied, "That's really not something you need to know."
