This number rang me and my mum at 2:47 in the morning, which was really odd. I tried calling back by dialling 1471 then used ring back and option 3, but all I got was a busy tone. When my mum woke up later, we tried calling again just in case it was someone we knew, but all we got was a message saying no one was available to talk and to try again later. On the 10th of Febuary 2018, my neighbour who has dementia got a phone call. The carer answered it and noted the voice was really deep and rough, sounded like it might’ve been from Africa or somewhere similar. They mentioned they’d ring again but we never heard from them after that.

Got a call at 9:37am this morning, 28 September 2015. Didn’t even hear the phone ring, just noticed the missed call 1474 when I checked my phone after coming back from the shops. Feels like it’s either a business or person hoping you’ll ring them back and then somehow you get charged, with the bill going to whoever called.
