Total scam, called saying I got approved for a loan when I never even applied for one.

Got a call from some dodgy lot saying I’d been accepted for a loan, at first they said 200 but then bumped it up to 500. I asked them how they could offer me anything since I never applied, and they just hung up on me! Bit creepy how they already had my name too.

At last managed to chat with someone when they rang me. They claimed I’d put in an application for a loan. As soon as I told them to remove me from their calling list, they just ended the call right away. This week alone, they’ve called me 22 times. I picked up three times but each time they cut off before I could say anything. In just two days, they buzzed me no less than nine times!

some daft bloke calling up, claiming he knew I’d been behind the wheel of a car that’d just had an accident. proper nonsense, coz I don’t even have a driving licence! what a load of rubbish.

I was nearly unable to understand the caller, who was persistently pitching some kind of debt support service.

Wasn't sure who it was, so I just put the phone down as soon as I picked up.

I got a call from this number earlier, but the bloke’s accent was so thick it was hard to make out what he was saying. Seemed like some sort of refund or reimbursement thing, like “you’re entitled to get some money back.” When I told him I wasn't following, he just ended the call straight away.
