Just like others have said before, I told the caller “OOOER me.” I asked him to look at the lights on his modem and say which were blinking. He was another Asian guy spouting nonsense, so I just told him to jog on and he dropped the call lol. Also got a call from 01612737093 earlier today, same rubbish.

Got a call from some dodgy India call centre pretending to be from a firm in Manchester. The poor company had absolutely no clue their number was being used like that. Honestly, these scammers make it so obvious they’re fake. I had a bit of fun messing about with them for a while. Honestly, I reckon you should just take the piss and waste their time too, it’s pretty hilarious!

Had two rings from this number. The first time, there was nothing but silence. The second time, the caller claimed to be from BT Open Reach, speaking with a very thick Asian accent. When I asked what he was actually after, he hung up straight away. Pretty sure it’s a SCAM - watch out!

I got a call from this number earlier, some lady with a foreign accent saying she was from BT Openreach. She said there was a problem with broadband in the area over the past few days. I can say it out loud so you know it’s legit.” I guess some might fall for that, but it just felt dodgy to me.
