SCAM ALERT Got a robo call claiming there was some weird stuff going on with my Amazon and my bank, like someone trying to withdraw £1,000. Definitely a scam, don’t trust it!

For the third time now, I’ve had messages left saying some massive and odd withdrawal was made from my bank. I rang my bank and they said it’s a scam, someone pretending to be from Amazon. Honestly, I’m starting to wonder why I even keep this landline. Just throwing money away.

I received an automated call claiming my credit card was at risk and urged me to get in touch with their so-called support team. After thoroughly reviewing my bank statements, I found no signs of any unauthorised activity. Clearly, it's just a blatant scam trying to rope people in!

I allowed the call to go to voicemail. The recorded message indicated that money had been debited from my card for a supposed Amazon purchase and also mentioned an international transfer. Shortly after, the call ended abruptly. I have a hunch I've encountered this exact recording previously.

I received a pre-recorded message informing me that my card had been involved in two suspicious transactions and instructed me to press a button on my keypad to reach their support team. Be cautious, as this appears to be a con! Stay alert!

I received a rather dodgy call claiming that there was a transaction of £300 from Amazon and an additional £1100 charge for an international transfer on my card. They instructed me to press 1 to approve the transactions, but if I wanted to cancel or inquire further, I was to contact their support team. Oddly enough, I got a similar call an hour later, but this time from a totally different number. Sounds like a classic spam attempt to me!

Earlier today, I got a rather dodgy voicemail claiming that there was suspicious activity on my Amazon account. They urged me to hit '1' if I didn’t recognise the transactions. I decided it was best to hang up. Surely, if there were any issues, my bank or credit card provider would reach out with a proper human being, wouldn't they?

Received a voicemail claiming I owe £300 to Amazon and £1,100 to Western Union, urging me to ring their help desk. Quite evidently a scam, if you ask me.
