I received a call from someone babbling about a legal battle that the banks apparently lost concerning overdrafts and similar issues. I mentioned that I’ve never encountered such a situation in my life, and rather abruptly, the caller just hung up on me. I can’t help but feel a little pity for folks like that; I sincerely hope they find decent employment in the near future. Does anyone happen to know which company this might be?

Kinda as annoying as those dodgy overseas call centres ringing my landline all the time, saying they’re from Microsoft with some urgent Windows issues. I get calls from these lot about three times daily and it’s been going on for over a month now. I end the call as soon as they ring but it doesn’t stop them from calling again! Unfortunately, my phone won’t let me block numbers so I’m kinda stuck dealing with it. I’ve never had this many random calls before and I’ve had this same number for more than 10 years. Since I sorted out my mortgage last year, I’ve been getting loads of nuisance calls from all sorts of different numbers. Really won't stop calling. Kept going on about PPI, saying the payout I got was likely wrong and they needed to have another look in case I deserved more. I told them my number’s on the TPS and asked them to take it off their list, but he just kept talking until I finally ended the call. At least then it's them wasting their time, not me. It’s funny hearing them get all worked up trying to speak, only to be met with dead silence.
