Definitely dodgy! This isn’t a legitimate HMRC contact! They accused me of dodging taxes and made threats about legal repercussions unless I pressed 1. Just steer clear of this number... Better to block it!

Got a call from someone pretending to be the police, saying it was about an HMRC issue. I had already blocked a bunch of dodgy numbers before, so I asked them for their info, planning to report them to the cops. As soon as I mentioned that, they just dropped the call. Just a heads up, these scammers really don't give up easily.
