Accident management people phoned me right after my crash, perfect timing for them. Thought they were legit and gave them my car details and date of birth. Wish I was more careful but after the smash, I wasn’t thinking straight at all. Honestly, don’t trust them. If they say they’re from AMS, just end the call straight away.

AMS isn’t just using a Manchester line, they also call from a Liverpool number 0151 8081043. After about 4 or 5 minutes of repeatedly asking them to take my number off their list and telling this bloke called Rob that I wasn’t interested in any follow-up, he started threatening that they’d take action against some third party without asking me. I had to start recording the call on my dictaphone, but he just kept harassing me. I ended the call! This company is seriously sketchy and needs to be shut down immediately!!!

Received a dodgy call from AMS Solutions, claiming I could file a claim for compensation due to an accident. Definitely sounds like a scam to me!

AMS from Manchester called again, now from 01613540633. I got into a row with them and hung up, then they called back with some supervisor on the line. She had a really harsh tone and sounded South African, said they'd keep ringing until I "enabled them to close the file." I deal with tough customers all the time at work, but this was genuinely unsettling. Proper nasty lot.

Got two calls from this number today, both saying I was involved in a car crash like 2 and a half years ago. I told them my last accident was way back in July 2006. After that, they just ended the call.

Just like others here, I got a call from 01614149139 about a crash I never had. This rude South African guy got really pushy, wouldn’t take no for an answer and kept saying they had a right to my details. Can you imagine? He got proper annoyed when I refused to say anything, not even my name - I swear I could tell he was getting more stressed by the minute lol. I told him this number is for HMRC’s investigation team and to stop calling, and suddenly it went dead silent. I hung up after that. It truely is HMRC linked too, so now I’m waiting to see if AMS will ring back.

Got a call from a bloke claiming to be from AMS Solutions, saying some third party had contacted him about compensation for an accident I supposedly caused back in July. Never had an accident, let alone caused one. Told him this straight away and then ended the call. He asked for me by my name right when I picked up, so clearly my info has been shared with this company or some kind of call centre. I cut him off before he could try and get any more info out of me. Would advise not to share any details. Feels like one of those dodgy accident claim scams to me.
