Received a call from this number on the 30th of September at 9:42 am. They claimed to represent our energy provider, but when I inquired about the name of that supplier, their response was completely off. I've attempted to investigate their number, but unfortunately, I've come up empty-handed.

Received a call purporting to be from the EON renewals team. I decided to double-check with EON directly, and they had no knowledge of this call at all. They confirmed it wasn’t one of their official numbers! When I rang back and inquired if I had reached EON renewals, they averted the question and claimed indeed I had. Curiously, when I later asked if it was British Gas renewals, they once again affirmed that was the case. Sounds rather suspicious to me!
