I left them a message saying I’ve never applied for any car finance, and they replied that they’d cancelled whatever application it was since they must’ve got the wrong number. Fingers crossed they stop ringing or texting me now.

Got a text saying something about car finance, which I never signed up for since I don't even have a car! They want you to ring them back at a certain number - pretty sure it's one of those pricey lines meant to rake in your money. Seems dodgy to me.

I got a couple of texts from a number saying it was carfinance247, but I checked their website and that number doesn’t show up anywhere. They’re talking about some car finance I supposedly applied for, which I definitely didn’t. Not sure what’s happening, so I’ve just blocked the number for now.
