I reckon this Yoned Khan bloke from RKRS, who supposedly works in recruitment, is just handing out folks’ phone numbers from CVs to his mates who are telemarketers over in India. They end up selling your info to marketing companies that keep pestering you non-stop. Worst thing is, he never helps you land a job and, oddly enough for a recruitment agency, he even asks for your date of birth, which seems super dodgy.

Honestly, the smartest move with your CV is to NEVER put your phone number on it. Just stick with your email. I’ve gotten so many rubbish emails with fake job offers and dodgy links it's unreal. Can you imagine if I just handed out my number to every blasted job recruiter I send my CV to? Yeah, I’m talking about you, late-night agent, scraping by with no proper work. And trust me, this is just the start of a much bigger mess.

It has come to my attention that a certain recruitment consultant, Yoned Khan, working for the agency RKRS, is allegedly passing on people's contact details to telemarketers. He seems to trawl through CVs and shares personal information with his telemarketer associates in India. Strangely enough, he does not assist you in securing employment, and he oddly requests your date of birth as well. It’s rather concerning behaviour from someone in the recruitment sector. Yoned Khan, a name that’s been popping up quite a lot lately.

Ended up speaking to a rather arrogant chap who berated me for not saying anything, claiming I was just wasting my phone credit. They’re touting themselves as the Pension Department, which gives off a whiff of legitimacy, hinting that they possess some sort of official sanction. But let's be honest, they might just be self-styled if you ask me. They mentioned being linked to the Intrinsic network, which suggests they aren’t truly independent. What I usually do is just hold the phone to my ear but kind of to the side, not hang up right away, then they keep rambling cause they think I’m still paying attention and end up putting the phone down themselves. I received an unsolicited call from this number, inquiring whether I was aware of the recent updates to pension legislation. I presumed they were talking about the modifications introduced in April (considering it's now November). They claimed they could help reduce pension charges and were proposing a complimentary review of my pension. It appears they purchase contact details from third-party sources. I gather they require a letter of authority to access your pension details, ostensibly to conduct a free review, after which they pass your information to a regulated adviser as a warm lead. Their website mentions FSA regulated advisers, which is rather outdated since the FSA rebranded to FCA back in April 2013. It’s evident that they operate as a call centre with no clue who they're contacting; I, for instance, am an independent financial adviser myself. For anyone feeling uncertain about their pension arrangements and whether they will adequately support them in retirement, I strongly recommend consulting with an Independent Financial Adviser. They will work collaboratively with you and represent your interests. If you don’t already have an adviser, I suggest visiting www.unbiased.co.uk, where you can find a list of IFAs in your area.

This number rings me at least a few times a day, often late at night. I live alone and really don’t feel comfortable picking up calls so late. It’s super frustrating cause they just won’t leave me alone or listen when I say no. Someone really needs to do something about these persistent calls, and they’re not the only ones bothering me either.
