I reckon this Yoned Khan bloke from RKRS, who supposedly works in recruitment, is just handing out folks’ phone numbers from CVs to his mates who are telemarketers over in India. They end up selling your info to marketing companies that keep pestering you non-stop. Worst thing is, he never helps you land a job and, oddly enough for a recruitment agency, he even asks for your date of birth, which seems super dodgy.

Honestly, the smartest move with your CV is to NEVER put your phone number on it. Just stick with your email. I’ve gotten so many rubbish emails with fake job offers and dodgy links it's unreal. Can you imagine if I just handed out my number to every blasted job recruiter I send my CV to? Yeah, I’m talking about you, late-night agent, scraping by with no proper work. And trust me, this is just the start of a much bigger mess.

He takes info from CVs he gets and then sells those details to marketing companies, mostly based in India, who keep bombarding you with calls. He doesn’t actually help you find a job either, which is odd for a recruitment agency. Plus, he asks for your date of birth, which seems pretty suspicious. Beware of Yoned Khan! He’s supposedly a recruitment consultant but instead of helping you find a job, he just sells your info to marketing companies who then bombard you with calls. It’s odd enough that a recruiter even asks for your date of birth, which he does. Honestly, this bloke isn’t interested in actually placing anyone, just passing details around. Watch out for this Yoned Khan - he’s not what he seems.

My missus had a missed call so I decided to ring back. Ended up speaking to a right rude bloke who told me I was just squandering my phone credit since I hadn’t said anything yet. They claim to be from the Pension Department, making it sound like they’re legit and official. Could just be putting it on themselves, who knows. They also mentioned they’re linked to the Intrinsic network, so they’re not exactly on their own. What I usually do is just hold the phone to my ear but kind of to the side, not hang up right away, then they keep rambling cause they think I’m still paying attention and end up putting the phone down themselves. I’ve gotten loads of calls like this from loads of different numbers. Best thing is to not bother giving them any attention!

I got a call from this number out of the blue, claiming they wanted to tell me about "new" pension legislation changes. I figured they meant the ones from April this year, even though it’s already November. They said they could help lower your pension fees by offering a free pension review. Turns out, they buy phone numbers from third parties to make these calls. They ask you to sign a letter of authority so they can access your pension details, supposedly to review it for free, but then they pass your info on to a regulated adviser as a warm lead. Their website still mentions FSA regulation, but the FSA was replaced by the FCA back in 2013, so they’re clearly not up to date. This is definitely a call centre just cold-calling people without knowing anything about them - I’m an independent financial adviser, and they had no clue who I was. If you’re worried about your pension and want to be sure it’s right for your future, I’d recommend going to a genuine Independent Financial Adviser who will work for you. This number rings me at least a few times a day, often late at night. I live alone and really don’t feel comfortable picking up calls so late. It’s super frustrating cause they just won’t leave me alone or listen when I say no. Someone really needs to do something about these persistent calls, and they’re not the only ones bothering me either. I doubt they’d appreciate being hassled the way they’re doing to me and loads of other people.
