Had a call from someone claiming to be O2, they gave the last 4 digits of my phone to sound legit - but that really isn’t proof, they’re the ones ringing me after all! The call quality was awful, barely understandable, so I’m guessing it’s one of those dodgy boiler-room scams, probably pretending to be from Manchester 0161 850 8421. Normally I ignore calls from numbers I don’t know but this time I picked up since I was waiting for an important call. Honestly, I’d recommend just not answering if you don’t know who it is.
