It was quite alarming, to say the least-after a quick investigation, it seems to be yet another scam. I really do wish the authorities would crack down on these dishonest individuals! 😡😡😡

Loads of dodgy calls coming from a whole bunch of different numbers, all part of some HMRC money scam. Seems like they’re just trying to con folks so they can afford their yearly trip to the Ganges for a ritual bath. Heard they also get their unibrows sorted out by some bloke called Bindar, the butcher, over in Bikaner. Proper dodgy lot.

I got a voicemail from a woman with an accent that didn’t sound British, saying HMRC were starting court action against me and I needed to call 150 to talk to my case officer. We were out when they rang, so the message was left on the answerphone. Earlier this morning, we missed two calls from numbers we didn’t know - 02035190197 and 01655648632. I’m pretty sure these were just scam calls.
